This dress was created by the draping method. Hand-stitched and finished. Prototype, February, 2017.This dress was made by the draping method. The fabric in the dress is produced by using a chemical to burn away the rayon pile of a silk and rayon velvet. The fabric is then cross-dyed. The final product is all hand stitched. Prototype. December, 2016 .This ensemble includes the simple bias cut under dress with interlacing hand beading along the handkerchief hem. The breast plate is made from molded plastic that is treated with gold leafing and embellished with feathers. Prototype, March, 2001.
